BREATHE OUT THE HYPERTENSION
By doing the mentioned breathing meditation twice a day, it decreases the blood pressure up to 10 points.
Step 1: Sit comfortably, straight – spined neck supported, eyes closed. Inhale deeply and tense the whole body until it vibrates. Now exhale deeply through nose and mouth and relax the body completely. Do this three times. This practice releases all tensions including subconscious ones.
Step 2: Next still relaxed, get in to the 8-8 deep breathing process. This time as you inhale to a count of eight, gently push your stomach outward ; then as you exhale to a count of eight, pull your stomach inwards. Repeat this ten times or until you feel calm.
You can practice breathing meditation before and after the AGM too! In the long term, it will improve your blood pressure and you may even be able to have your present dosage. Never hold your breath as it raises the blood pressure. Keep the breaths flowing in and out gently.
